SK Engineering Boosts Operational Efficiency at Bahamas Brewery and Beverage Co., Freeport
SK Engineering was proud to be selected by Brewtech GmbH to lead a series of key projects at Bahamas Brewery and Beverage Co. in Freeport, Bahamas. This opportunity reaffirmed our expertise in industrial automation and electrical engineering for the beverage sector, while allowing us to deliver targeted solutions focused on operational continuity and energy optimization.
The first project involved the complete automation of the brewery’s preventive and corrective maintenance system. This initiative was designed to improve response times, enhance maintenance traceability, and maximize equipment availability, directly improving operational efficiency and reliability.
We then conducted a detailed energy consumption study covering every stage of the production process, from brewing to packaging. This analysis identified critical consumption points and opportunities for optimization, providing a comprehensive overview of the plant’s energy behavior.
Based on these insights, we designed and implemented a customized energy-saving system, incorporating advanced technologies and tailored strategies to reduce consumption without compromising productivity. The result was a more sustainable, efficient, and profitable operation.
